Survey for Surgeons

We would be very grateful if you could complete this very small survey on the use of smart phone technology in our day to day surgical practice. This survey is extremely short, a mere 11 easy to complete questions and will take approximately 3-4 minutes to complete. Even if you do not use smart phone technology, your response (only 4 questions) will be greatly appreciated. The purpose of the survey is to help further develop the use of mobile technology to assist in the clinical and educational setting.

This 47 year old lady had carpal tunnel surgery 2 year prior and had excellent symptoms relief for 6 months after which she noted scar tenderness which was aggravated by contact. This has led her to avoiding exposing the scar and making work as a cashier difficult.
On examination the scar was exquisitely tender to touch and had a positive Tinel’s along the median but Phalens was negative. She has no residual numbness in the median nerve distribution. This is the findings on exploration of the carpal tunnel.

What is the clincial problem here?
